Hi, this is Amber Darst, Solutions Manager here at MOS, and for this podcast, I’ll be touching on some tips for dental practices on how to increase their revenue during the upcoming holiday season.

00:14 Strategies to Boost Dental Practice Revenue

So, let’s go ahead and dive into some of the strategies you can implement to boost your revenue and serve your patients better during the holidays.

First up, we have helping your patients use their dental plan benefits before they expire. Many patients wait until the end of the year to get their dental work done, and it’s important to remind them that their annual benefits don’t roll over.

By educating your patients about how to use their annual maximum before the beginning of the New Year, you can improve their oral and overall health, as well as their financial well-being.

Another good tip is to automate the appointment reminders. People are busy with holiday activities and is easy for them to forget about their dental appointments. Automating reminders and cancellations can ensure that patients are aware of their upcoming appointments. This helps reduce cancellations and no shows, allowing your practice to run more smoothly during the holiday season. Also, consider scheduling appointments for patients who are coming home for the holidays. Many college students studying away from home prefer to see their hometown dentist. Seeing these patients over their extended holiday breaks can help resolve their dental concerns before they head back to school while keeping your schedule full.

And one last fun little tip is to utilize social media platforms to engage patients during the holidays. Sharing your office’s holiday decorations and creating catchy ads can attract new patients. Facebook ads in particular can be powerful tool for boosting your practices visibility. Holidays are a time meant to be enjoyed with family and friends, so of course balancing your time in the office with time for fun is super important.

Following these tips can really help you have the best of both worlds.
